Apache SeaTunnel invites community members and users to share their expertise and experiences at our virtual/in-person Meetup events. What is Apache SeaTunnel Meetup?

Apache SeaTunnel is a distributed, high-performance, and scalable data integration platform for large-scale data (both offline and real-time) synchronization and transformation.

The Meetup events are organized by the SeaTunnel community, with an average of one event per month. These events primarily target developers in the data synchronization field, offering practical insights from industry experts to help community developers enhance their skills and knowledge, creating greater value for the global community.

What should you prepare?

Our goal is to deliver high-quality, valuable, and cutting-edge industry insights and firsthand experiences to the audience. Each speaker represents our Apache SeaTunnel community, and your professionalism on stage will inspire others in the community to strive for excellence.

  • Prepare a topic of your choice
  • Prepare a presentation and the required slides (PPT)
  • Participate in pre-event rehearsals

Benefits of Being a Meetup Speaker

All speakers participating in the Meetup events will be recognized for their non-code contributions. According to the official definition of the Apache project, committer selection is multifaceted. Besides code and documentation contributions, contributions such as advocacy and organizing Meetup events are considered contributions, which can lead to becoming a committer through this avenue.
