Call for user cases | Submit your use case and get a reward!

With more and more data generated, Apache SeaTunnel is increasingly used in the practice of workflow task scheduling scenarios in various industries to help enterprises or individual users solve difficult application problems.

To make these successful application practices be seen by more people, we’d like you can submit your use case to share your successful experience or pass on skills to escape stepping into the pit, and provide a reliable reference for novices and users. So the community specially launched this “User case collection” event and encourages everyone to share their application practice. What is worth looking forward to is that the contestants selected as “Excellent User Cases” will not only receive generous rewards, but will also be recommended to participate in Summit/Events organized by Apache, such as ApacheCon, and have the opportunity to showcase to global users!

How to participate

• Theme: Apache SeaTunnel excellent user case collection
• Time: February 1, 2023 — March 31, 2023
• How to participate:

1. Submit files describing your application practice of Apache SeaTunnel in production to the mailbox debra.chen12@gmail.com before the deadline. There are no format limitations, word, MD, and online documents are all acceptable.

2. Email theme format: user case + business name/personal name

3. After the review is passed, the community email notification will be received, and excellent cases will be published on the community official account and other channels

4. Case submitters will receive event gifts after the event results are announced

• Deadline for submitting cases: 28 February 2023 at 24:00
• Submit a case request:

1. Company name/personal name exposure: The name of the company using Apache SeaTunnel must be stated in the article; personal cases do not require disclosure of names;

2. Content format: At least include [problem description], [solution], [result description] related content, within 3000 words, and technical explanation is encouraged

• Evaluation criteria: The community will evaluate the submitted cases from the three dimensions of completion, technical detail, and innovation. The number is not limited, and the best ones will be selected.
• Announcement of results: April 2023

Reward

1. “Excellent Case” will be rewarded with a shopping card worth 500 yuan; and will be recommended to participate in Summit/Event organized by Apache Foundation, such as ApacheCon.
2. All participants will receive a commemorative gift from the community.

Note 📢:

• The public release of user cases requires the authorization of the enterprise. Before submitting the case, please confirm that the enterprise has agreed to disclose relevant information.
• Since user case writing and review are time-consuming, we remind everyone to plan early and start writing as soon as possible!
